Step 1

Tip Collection

Block builders attach MEV tips to transactions, which validators collect through dedicated tip accounts.

  • Eight Tip PDAs per validator aggregate tips each epoch
  • Tips flow from block builders to validators with Jito tips enabled
  • Accumulated tips drain to Tip Distribution Accounts
Step 2

Consensus Voting

NCN operators vote on merkle roots to determine fair distribution of collected tips.

  • Operators submit proposed merkle roots for tip distribution
  • Votes are weighted by stake recorded in WeightTable
  • 66.7% of total stake weight is required for consensus
  • A tie-breaker admin can resolve stalled votes
Step 3

Reward Distribution

Once consensus is reached, rewards are automatically routed to designated recipients.

  • 2.7% routes to the DAO treasury
  • 0.3% routes to NCN operators and vault stakers
  • Validator rewards (97%) are claimable via merkle proofs
  • Payments are processed through the JitoSOL stake pool
